Cancellations or changes can be made free of charge until 11:59 PM, four days before the scheduled check-in date.For cancellations or changes made within three days of the scheduled check-in date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the first night’s stay will apply.For reservations made through booking websites other than our official website, cancellation fees for the entire stay will apply in accordance with the policy of the booking website used.Example: For a reservation with a check-in date of the 10thCancellations or changes are free of charge until 11:59 PM on the 6th.A cancellation fee will apply from 12:00 AM on the 7th.

We are sorry, but rooms with a maximum occupancy of two guests cannot accommodate three or more people.Our rooms for two guests have been thoughtfully designed within a compact 4.5-tatami layout. The architect chose this traditional room size to reflect the Japanese way of living while making efficient use of the available space.For groups of three or more, please book either a Comfort Room (13 m²) or a Group Room (a nine-tatami Japanese-style room), both of which can accommodate up to four guests.

Reservations for five or more rooms cannot be accepted by phone or through our online booking system. Group reservations are accepted by email only.Please contact us at ryokan@andon.co.jp and include your preferred stay dates, the number of rooms required, and the total number of guests.A separate cancellation policy applies to group reservations.Cancellations or changes can be made free of charge up to 31 days before the scheduled check-in date.For cancellations or changes made within 30 days of the scheduled check-in date, the full reservation amount will be charged.

Once your reservation has been confirmed, an automated confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered when making the reservation.Please make sure that your email settings allow you to receive messages from ryokan@andon.co.jp.The confirmation email may have been sent to your spam or junk mail folder, so please check those folders as well.If you have not received the email after a few minutes, this may be due to your smartphone or computer settings, an incorrectly entered email address, or the reservation not having been completed successfully. Please contact us by telephone so that we can check the status of your reservation.

We are very sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children aged 12 or younger.Guests aged 13 or older are welcome to stay at the adult rate.This policy is in place because the building features open-riser staircases designed according to the architect’s original concept, and the stairs leading to the rooftop are particularly steep. In addition, our meal menus are intended for adults.We appreciate your understanding.
