Nikko

2010.03.13

I had a vacation so I went to Nikko with my parents!! I worried about the weather but we didn’t need umbrella while we were there. We were very lucky : )
There are many places to see so we couldn’t visit all places where we wanted to go but we had great time in Nikko. On the 1st day we went to Nikko-Tosyogu, Futarasan shrine and Rinno temple. I have been to Nikko-Tosyogu once as a school trip when I was a elementary school student but it’s smaller than I thought and the structures are so beautiful and wonderful. Those are impressed me very much then I realized that I didn’t watch carefully at all when I was a student : P
On the 2nd day, it was lovely day. We visited the Lake-Chuzenji, the Urami-Falls and Senjyo-gahara. We enjoyed fresh air and fantastic view all day.
On the 3rd day, we walked around Nikko station to get some souvenirs and had lunch at Kamaya.
Apparently, Nikko is famous for not only yuba(it’s made from soy milk) but also cheese cake. So I tried at the restaurant and bought the another one at Meiji-no-yakata. Both are really good!!! If you have a chance to visit Nikko you should try some cheese cakes.
