My mother visited Karuizawa for one day trip and bought such a cute apple sweets there for me.
It looked like a real apple and was packed with a real small cardboard box, but tasted Japanese sweet,,! We had a small tea ceremony with those cute apples : )

母が軽井沢に旅行に行き、とても可愛らしいお土産を買ってきてくれました。
本物そっくりなミニチュアのダンボール箱に入ったりんご。でも食べてみると、和菓子なんです。
二人で小さなりんごでお茶会をしました。癒しのひと時 : )

丸の内エリアに行ってブリックスクエアにある「エシレ」でケーキを買いました。
何度も訪れていますが行く度に違う物を購入します。選ぶのをいつも楽しんでいます。
This time I tried a butter cream cake(left) and a mille-feuille(right). I shared with my mother.
Both are very good, rich taste so it was very nice with tea with no sugar.
今回はバターケーキとミルフィーユに挑戦しました。母と分けて頂きました！
I really love ECHIRE because the smell in the shop makes me happy : ), and every sweets are wonderful and also their disigne, atmosphere are nice.2010.10.31
Have you ever seen soba flower before? 
Soba is a type of thin Japanese noodle made from buckwheat flour. It is served either chilled with a dipping sauce, or in hot broth as a noodle soup. I took this picture in front of my house! I like Soba noodle very much. I am very glad to be in blossom of the buckwheat flower close to my house. I had made Soba with the school exercise when I was child so I know that it was so hard to make it! I like nature and always appreciate it. Kayo

今日はかよちゃんと二人で早番でした。
朝食も掃除もチェックインもアウトも、てんこ盛りでもう息をつく暇もないほどの忙しさ、、、！全力疾走のまま朝が終わり、お昼が来て午後になり、ようやく全てがなんとか片付き、一応勤務終了。
そしてすぐに着替えて社長と共に赤坂で行われたツイッターのセミナーに参加しました。分かりやすくとても面白い内容でした。更に、会場内のさまざまなホテル・旅館業を営むオーナーの方々の熱意に驚きました。
それぞれの感想を抱きながらかよちゃんと会場を出ると、二人共一斉に「おなかがすいた、、！！」の一言。思えば仕事中にお客様にいただいたチョコレートをかじったっきり朝から何も食べていませんでした。
かよちゃん、早朝から夜中まで、お互い本当にお疲れさまでした。
今年も残すところあと二ヶ月。なんだか、楽しく元気に乗り切れそうだね。

I went to a book store which is in “TOKIA” it’s very close to Tokyo station.
It has 4 floors and they have a lots variety of book. You can serch a book you want by conputer but even if they have it, it hard to find a book for me.
東京駅のすぐ近くのTOKIAにある丸善（本屋）に行って来ました。４階にかけての大きな本屋さんで沢山の種類の本が揃えてあります。コンピューターで欲しい本を探すことができますが、それでも私には見つけるのが大変なくらい広いです。
There is a cafe in a book store on the 4th floor. It called “M&C cafe”
Ryoko recomended it to me before I go so I tried! They have old style “Hayashi Rice” it’s like a curry.
I had a table with nice view. It’s was little late so the night view was so nice : ) I could see Tokyo station and many trains pass by.
４階にはエムシーカフェというカフェがあり、とっても美味しい早矢仕ライスという元祖のハヤシライスがあります。（デザートもあります。）窓際の席に座れ、東京駅を見下ろし行き交う電車が見える夜景はとっても綺麗で、得した気分でした。
After that I went to “DEAN&DELUCA” in Tokyo station to get some bread.
