I went to Roppongi Hills with friends! We went to there from 4pm to 7pm so we could see sun set view and night time view from observtion deck!! It was very clear and could see Mt. Fuji!! Also it was magnificent view. There is one of my favorite place. I highly recommend to go there to see tokyo view in winter season because you can see both side view in short time!! 2011.01.19
I visited my grand mother in Kyoto again.
It was lovely weather and I saw beautiful Mt.Fuji from the Bullet train,however,everything was covered with snow between Nagoya to Kyoto and it’s very cold when I arrived at Kyoto.
There were only two days with an overnight stay there so I spent almost time beside her.
However, I also did some sightseeing this time.
Few days ago,one of our guests told me that he was really impressed with Sanjusangen-do which was a holy building famous for its the 1000 standing images of Kannon. I saw that almost ten years ago and got to want to see them again by his talk.
Before taking Bullet train going back to Tokyo,I visited there with my cousin. It was wonderful and I was overwhelmed by it’s impact. I prayed for the recovery of my grand mother.
After that,I also went to lovely doughnut shop which was recommended by the guest as well and had coffee with my cousin. It was very pleasant time : ) Thanks,Yuri.

京都の祖母のお見舞いに行ってきました。
今回はお見舞いプラス、少し京都観光もすることができました。
数日前に行燈に宿泊していたゲストがとてもとても熱く「三十三間堂」の素晴らしさを語っているのを
耳にし、中学校の修学旅行振りに行ってみることにしました。
堂内で参拝している人はあまり多くはなかったのですが、出口に差し掛かった時とてもたくさんの人と対面したような不思議な感覚が残りました。
そのあと、こちらも三十三間堂とともにゲストが勧めてくれた「はなドーナッツ」というお店で可愛いドーナッツをお土産に買って、今回のプチ京都観光に付き合ってくれた従妹と一緒にケーキとコーヒーでお茶をして楽しいひと時を過ごしました。ゆりちゃん、ありがとう。

I went to “Printemps ginza”, there are some special chocolate shop for Valentine’s Day already.
I didn’t get chocolate but I got a scone with chocolate chips. It’s shaped heart : ) Very cute isn’t it?

Gabrielsson family stayed with us for 3 nights and have just left this morning.
They were so friendly and there were three very cute children,Seth, Emil and Julia : )
Julia loved Hello Kitty so we made a special french set for breakfast today.
Can you see Kitty,,,??
We hope that they enjoyed their stay and hope to see them again!

先週は何かと忙しい一週間でした。お正月も明け、行燈はオフsシーズンに突入で、この時期は交代で長期の休暇をとっています。最大で１０日間、この時期は航空券も安く、おりからの円高で海外にいくにはもってこいの時期です。
左の写真のオリバーさんは、ドイツのガイドブック、REISE Know-How のライターさんです。行燈をオープンした翌年にご夫婦でお泊まりいただき、親しくなりました。奥様は日本人でした、こちらのオリバーさんもとても控え目な優しい方です。時にジョークを交え、照れながらお話する姿はとても好感がもてます。今回は三月に改定版を出すにあたっての来日です。秋葉原はとても楽しかったそうです。行燈を思い出して宿泊されてくださり、とても感謝いたします。
そして、こちらは香港のケーブルテレビのスタッフさん達です。東京をドライブして観光するといく企画を建て、成田に着くなり行燈のお茶会に参加、翌日は私のインタビューを収録にきてくださいました。女優さんのウエンディーさんはさすが、表情のリアクションも上手でとても可愛いい方でした。香港の方たちは街の印象とともに何か、忙しい印象を私が持っていましたが、皆さまとても控え目でおとなしい方達でした。
番組は三月に放送との事ですので、ビデオが送られてくるのは待ち遠しいです。

週末は熊の前のてんぷら「岩の井」へ、大里さんおすすめの天ぷらの冷汁美味しかったです。
五人で大将のおしゃべりと共に大きく盛り上がり、最後は王さんの必死の訴えに大笑いして、風をひいたのも忘れて楽しみました。
