Welcome back to Jiyugaoka again, on Sunday I told you about my little trip to the city of freedom “Jiyugaoka”. Today, I want to share my top 5 favorites places and things to do around the city. Let’s get start!!!!
No. 5 Sweet Forests: Enjoy picking your favorite delightful desserts from 8 famous pastissiers
No. 4 Looking for unique spots: It’s fun to walk around and discover unique hiden spot to take a snap shot with friends or your special person.
No. 3 Wandering along “The Green Street”: Just buy some kabab from Doner’s Kabab, originally made by Turkish guy and enjoy having on the porce in late afternoon or stores hopping is also fun thing to do.
No. 2 Stores Hopping: there are so many “Zakka” stores and unique shops around this lovely town, you never know what you will discover. Like 3 stores I visited Art Meter offers various kinds of original arts painted by local artists. Cibone is also famous “Zakka” selling things from cloths to furniture. Velvet Rose is unique clothing and accessories store where imported and handmade products can be found.
No.1 Resting at quiet and peaceful tea house: My favorite place of all time at Jiyugaoka is “Kosoan” tea house, only 10 minutes walking from the station, there is a traditional house combined gallery and cafe together. I love their Matcha Latte and little piece of Japanese dessert. However, if you have enough of greentea, I also recommend English teahouse “St.Chistopher’s” I found by chance. This white tea cafe also offer scone for low-tea and high-tea in the English country ambience.
That’s all my favorite things to do in Jiyuugaoka. I hope that if you have a chance to visit Tokyo, you would not miss this little lovely town.
It was a super great new toy for me. I did’t expect an ipad when I was stoped by the Yodobashi camera on Sunday. I just wanted to buy the ink of printer. When I arrived the Yodobashi camera’s Akihabara entrance. The front of stuff said me you may can buy the ipad today so I was just ineresting in his comment. I standed in the line. It was a nice happen. I can buy it no wainting a long time. When I came back Andon, all of stuff was surprised it because it make a phenomenon having it. I am very happy to hearing from them.
Anyway,I make a effort to stadying it every day.
It is my homework.
“Sushi” is one of the attractions of Japan,I think.
Few months ago,one guest of Andon asked us to make a reservation for a sushi restaurant “Kanpachi” in Okachimachi. When he came back from the restaurant,he told us many good opinions of the restaurant. He was really satisfied. From then on,we sometimes recommended it for our guests who would like to experience nice sushi dinner and everyone really enjoyed it : )
However,I’ve actuary had never been the restaurant and I finlly visited there with other staffs today.
It’s located near Nakaokachimachi station for Hibiya line, just 5 min walk from the station.
First,I really liked the entrance which looked like a old Japanese wooden house. The inside of the restaurant was rather small, but quite cozy and interior decorations were amazing.
We sat counter seats and could see a cook making some beautiful sushi. It looked like an entertainment.
Although he couldn’t speak English at all,he could communicate and satisfy the guests who are from abroad because he was extremely friendly and kind : )
I really enjoyed their sushi and also chatting with the staff.
I was so full, however, the cost was about only 3000yen per person. It’s really worthy to visit!
