Decorations
At our hotel, all the decorations and artwork are genuine, stemming from old times-from as old as the Edo to the Showa period
As a matter of fact, I myself collected all of them by going to antique events held every Sunday in Tokyo, and by going on trips to Kyoto and Kyushu districts.
The exhibits are all old and very rare and I am sure that you will find their designs fascinating. If our visitors find these items intimate and familiar, my purpose has been attained.
The term "Antique" often reminds us of something expensive. This doesn't necessarily have to be so. Rather, my intention is to collect items that you can easily touch and feel, or even put to everyday use.
All the tableware is either from the Meiji or Showa period. They come in different shapes and colors, but their variety can bring you warmth and comfort, I am not a professional so, unfortunately I can't give exact answers as to the time or place they were made.
I believe a hobby is a thing that above all else should bring you pleasure. I hope you can share this enjoyment.
